Dra. Cristina Martínez-Almoyna Rifá

Dr Cristina Martínez-Almoyna has been involved in dentistry since she was born. Her father, Dr Emilio Martinez-Almoyna Rullán, has always been a role model for her.

She grew up fascinated by the distinctive smell her father gave off when he came home every day, which she later discovered was due to dental products. She enjoyed going to the clinic, observing how well-kept, tidy and clean everything was. She has always understood the patient's need to be cared for, the subsequent satisfaction of having solved their problem and the delicacy with which the work was carried out. She loves her work above all else, and that is how dentistry became not only her job, but her lifestyle. After graduating in dentistry and spending a year in Barcelona doing an internship at the International University of Catalonia, she returned to Mallorca with the firm decision to specialise in orthodontics and paediatric dentistry. He completed various postgraduate courses in orthodontics and paediatric dentistry, and he is currently continuing his studies, as he says, ‘in my profession, you never stop studying. Learning new technologies to apply them to everyday life is something that has been instilled in me since I was a child. You can always improve.’ In 2019, she began collaborating with the Adema University School of Dentistry, training and passing on to future generations how amazing her profession can be.
